DECLARATION ARTISTIQUE / STATEMENT
Le Vivant et le Rêve sont au cœur de ma peinture, tout comme la physique quantique et la cosmologie. Je cherche à interpeller sur l’invisible (à l’œil humain mais pas l’esprit) et à célébrer l’interconnexion du vivant et l’enchevêtrement de la Vie sur notre planète et au-delà.
La couleur est un outil majeur dans mon travail qui poursuit un vœu de réenchantement et d’émerveillement.
Onirisme. Contemplation. Jeu. Evasion.
Je m'adresse à l'enfant intérieur et aux jeunes générations pour fomenter cette conscience lucide envers ce qui nous rend vivants et fait de nous des animaux humains.
Je souhaite créer une identité visuelle et un univers uniques.
Mes influences majeures sont Odilon Redon et Arshile Gorky, ainsi que Agnes Pelton, Klee, Wols, Hilma Af Klint, Khalo, Hermen Anglada Camarasa, Chagall et Gauguin.

*SERIES DE PEINTURE *
Je travaille sur plusieurs séries, chacune étant élaborée autour d'une thématique et, parfois, d'une palette. Elles sont toutes imbriquées les unes aux autres. C'est le thème de mon travail: l'interconnexion, et la forme qu'il revêt.
"Cosmos" est la série mère, dont naissent "Tropical" et "Luxuriance".
"Cosmos" est propice à la réflexion métaphysique par les concepts qui irriguent la cosmologie, la relativité générale et la mécanique quantique.
"Tropical" est iconique d'une faune et flore stupéfiantes et déroutantes par sa diversité et ses couleurs.
Enfin, "Luxuriance" présente des scènes, des compositions à l'échelle sub-atomique, voire celui des ondes, des énergies, de cet invisible escamoté pourtant essentiel et bien physique. Chaque série a sa palette. "Luxuriance" admet plus de variances cependant.

ENGLISH
The concepts of Living (Nature) and Dream are at the very core of my painting, quantum physics and cosmology also irrigate it. I want to call out to viewers about the invisible (to the human eye) and to celebrate interconnection in the living world as well as the entanglement of Life on our planet and beyond.
My art focuses on the bound connecting the human, the animal and the vegetal, and more widely the living world. Those physical links the modern human eye discredits, when not simply forgets, are sources of energies and create Life. I intent to translate this world of those undecided, unformed forms where the energies are at play.
Color is a main tool in my work which pursues a certain wish for re-enchantment and wonderment, in order to counter the current disenchantment. Dream. Contemplate. Play. Escape.
I aim at the inner child and the young generations to create this necessary lucid awareness about what it is that makes us alive and makes us human animals ultimately.
I work to create an original visual identity and universe of my own.
My main influences are Odilon Redon and Arshile Gorky, as well as Agnes Pelton, Paul Klee, Wols, Hilma Af Klint, Khalo, Hermen Anglada Camarasa, Chagall and Gauguin.
* SERIES OF PAINTING*
I am working on several series of paintings, each one of them being elaborated around a theme and, sometimes, a color palette. They are all interconnected together and to one another. This is the concept core of my art and also the plastic aspect my practice takes.
« Cosmos » is the mother series from which emerge « Tropical » and « Luxuriance ».
«Cosmos» series is prone to metaphysical thinking thanks to the concepts and scientific knowledge which irrigate cosmology, general relativity and quantum mechanics.
«Tropical» is iconic of the amazing and marvelous fauna and flora which can be found under the tropics, their diversity and colors evoking the unbelievable creativity at play on earth. Finally, « Luxuriance» introduces sceneries, compositions at a subatomic scale, when not at another scale even : the scale of vibrations, of energies, and of this invisible so mocked, yet essential and physical.
Each series has its own color palette, « Luxuriance » admitting more variances though.
